This study aims to explore the college English education for the articulation between high school and university. Based on a qualitative research method, in-depth interviews with five college English learners and four college English professors were conducted. The result showed that college students recognized ‘grammar and vocabulary learning’ as a commonality in English education between high school and college, while recognizing differences in ‘curriculum structure and classroom environment.’ Regarding the level of English learning, students who graduated from general high schools considered college English learning to be similar to or easier than high school, in contrast, students who graduated from specialized high schools considered college English learning difficult. The in-depth interviews with college English professors revealed that they had a low awareness of articulation between high school and college English education. Nevertheless, as the learner backgrounds and levels have become more diverse, professors recognize the need for articulation between high school and college English education. The research suggests the follow-up research on the articulation between high school and college English education.
