The study aims to find out the effects of the online international teaching practicum conducted by one educational university in Korea. The final reports of the 80 student-teachers were categorized and analyzed to learn what they have gained from the online teaching practicum. First, the participants acquired new perspectives on education and the role of teachers and gained assurance for the careers of primary teachers. Second, The participants learned that they should observe various classes of in-service teachers; they need efficient communication skills in classrooms, including using proper questions; and they recognized the importance of student-centered classes by comparing the talk time between a teacher and students. Third, the participants have changed their attitudes toward using English for genuine communication, and the positive attitudes gave them more confidence in using English, eventually making them effective communicators. Fourth, the participants thought they had invaluable experiences using online learning and teaching opportunities as learners and pre-service teachers. Furthermore, some participants strongly suggested the possibility of developing an online international teaching practicum as an independent program.
